Get the app

Put Maxnewsy on your home screen. It opens full-screen, no browser bars, one tap from your home screen.

If nothing pops up, follow the steps for your device below — it takes under a minute.

iPhone & iPad

  1. Open this page in Safari — it has to be Safari, not Chrome or another browser.
  2. Tap the Share icon — the square with an arrow pointing up, in the bottom bar.
  3. Scroll down the menu and tap Add to Home Screen .
  4. Tap Add in the top-right corner. The Maxnewsy icon appears on your home screen and opens full-screen, like an app.

Android

  1. Tap Install the app at the top of this page, then confirm Install.
  2. No pop-up? In Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner, then Install app (on some phones it says Add to Home screen).
  3. Maxnewsy appears on your home screen and in your app drawer, and opens full-screen.

Huawei (HarmonyOS)

  1. Open this page in Huawei Browser.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home Screen (添加到主屏幕).
  3. Tap Add — the Maxnewsy icon appears on your home screen and opens full-screen, like an app.

On HarmonyOS NEXT phones, installing from the browser isn't available — Maxnewsy still works in Huawei Browser; save it as a bookmark and open it from there.

Computer

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon on the right side of the address bar — or open the ⋮ menu and choose Install Maxnewsy…. It gets its own window and a spot in your apps.
